KONOS incorporates almost every subject into each unit. Here is an example of what that looks like:

UNIT: Attentiveness

EMPHASIS: Ears/Sound/Music

Bible:

History:

Science:

Create a crawl through ear Underneath a table

Vocabulary:

auricle, hammer, oval window, cochlea, optic nerve, audio meter, conductive deafness, hearing aid, stethoscope, fingerspelling, auditory canal, anvil, eardrum, stirrup, etc.

Practical Living:

When cleaning your room be attentive. Look to see that everything is in its place. Pay attention to detail!

Writing:

Younger - label the parts of the ear.

Middle - write an expository paper on deafness.

Older - take apart an old camera. Write a comparative paper comparing how an eye works vs. how a camera works.
